Infants & breast milk

Researchers at Children’s Hospital in Boston and Harvard University have found a strong link between the early weaning of babies and later obesity. In the study, babies introduced to solid foods before four months of age were six times more likely to be obese at age three, a predictor of adult obesity. The effect was strongest in bottle-fed babies and underscores the advantages of a natural diet of breast milk for infants. Learn more about the new study at Natural Infant Eating.
