Taking on obesity…finally

The U.S. government today issued new nutritional guidelines, finally taking a long-overdue first step to counter its growing obesity epidemic. While the changes are modest by many measures, they were immediately attacked by the food industry, which appears to be living in a bubble far away from American life.
