Salmon & Citrus Salad Meal

This delicious OurPlate-based salad meal took just ten minutes to make. It begins with a salmon fillet that is pan seared and then cooked covered with thin sliced red onion, garlic bits, turmeric, paprika  sesame seeds, and red and black pepper. As the salmon cooks, we prepare a salad base and veggie mix of arugula, sliced Persian cucumbers, cut grape tomatoes, and halved mandarin orange pieces. When done, the cooked fillet is added still warm to the plate, and everything is garnished with  parsley, lemon, marjoram, and black pepper. Fast, delicious, and healthy…as always, when you prepare your meals the HumanaNatura way!

Making Cross-Quarter Progress

Greetings from HumanaNatura at the cross-quarter! In the natural year, we are now halfway between the more naturally balanced time of the past equinox and the extremes of light and darkness of the coming solstice. As the name implies, cross-quarters occur four times yearly, midway between the two solstices and two equinoxes.

In the HumanaNatura natural health system, we encourage practitioners to use the balance of equinoxes for reflection and planning – including the crucial HumanaNatura practice of reviewing and updating our Natural Life Plan – and the solstices for natural celebration of our lives, relationships, and accomplishments. This framework means that the cross-quarters are natural times for added focus and intentional progress on our plans, visions, and goals.

Sauteed Fish Salad Meal

It’s never a sacrifice eating the HumanaNatura way and using HumanaNatura’s OurPlate guidelines. In fact, with HumanaNatura, you can enjoy healthy and inviting meals, everyday and at every meal. All it takes is an understanding of the key principles and practices of modern natural eating and just a bit of creative flair.

This delicious HumanaNatura salad meal begins with a ginger, red pepper, and turmeric rubbed halibut fillet, which is pan-cooked with thin-sliced red onion, broccoli bits, and a handful of shrimp. This protein and veggie mix is then served on a generous mound of fresh arugula along with julienne cucumber, quartered grape tomatoes, and a few blueberries. A naturally healthy indulgence that needs little else, it’s garnished with a scattering of pistachios, parsley, lemon, coriander, and black pepper before serving to eager eyes and mouths!
