Our showcased meal starts with a stir-fry of shrimp and red onion, seasoned with garlic bits, diced ginger, black pepper, sesame seeds, and a few generous shakes of curry powder. As the stir-fry is cooking, we parboiled a few broccoli florets, which you can see in back. Once the sir-fry and broccoli are done, they’re quickly arranged, still warm, on a bed of mixed greens along with sliced cucumber and pear, and a scattering of grape tomatoes It’s all garnished with parsley, lemon, marjoram, just a bit of anise, and black pepper.
