Making Cross-Quarter Progress

Greetings from HumanaNatura at the cross-quarter! In the natural year, we are now halfway between the more naturally balanced time of the past equinox and the extremes of light and darkness of the coming solstice. As the name implies, cross-quarters occur four times yearly, midway between the two solstices and two equinoxes.

In the HumanaNatura natural health system, we encourage practitioners to use the balance of equinoxes for reflection and planning – including the crucial HumanaNatura practice of reviewing and updating our Natural Life Plan – and the solstices for natural celebration of our lives, relationships, and accomplishments. This framework means that the cross-quarters are natural times for added focus and intentional progress on our plans, visions, and goals.

If you have not yet created a Natural Life Plan to guide your use and expression of the third HumanaNatura technique, Natural Living, our links will take you to our planning worksheets and seven-step planning process. Together, these resources will help you begin more intentionally health-centered and naturally progressive life in the days and weeks ahead.

Our newest member newsletter was released today as well, which is published eight times yearly in harmony with the natural year, providing updates on HumanaNatura’s resources, programs, and worldwide health campaigns. 1. Does Humana Natura have a graphic or inforgraphic of the natural year, it’s landmarks and significance along with the HumanaNatura interpretations and recommendations? It would be a fabulous visual of what it’s all about and of HN’s vision of natural living!

      1. Thank you so much Mark!

I don’t know if you are familiar with Chris Hardman’s ECOlogical Calendar:

        http://ecocalendar.info

It is a unique and very artistic representation of the ecological cycle of the year, marking the phases of the moon, the tides and even the planets. It folds out into a double-sided 12″ by 36″ poster.

Even though I am not the biggest fan of its graphics I absolutely love the concept. It’s my impression that HN aims to remind us that we are an integral part of all of these cosmic events.

I think a visually colorful poster could engage entire families. I bought Hardman’s calendar for my toddler twin daughters and they love it but it would be so much better if we could all see how we fit into the great scheme of things.

I imagine a large circular graphic would more appropriately depict the cyclical nature of the year while showing the seasonality of the weather, the harvests and what we should be feeding ourselves. If you have a large following in the Southern Hemisphere then perhaps two version might be needed!
        : )

I look forward to seeing what HN comes up with.

        All the best,

        Victor
